Using CDO for global mean

Hi guys,

I have a variable(eg Temperature) and I would like to do a global mean of the value. I couldn't find any command for that.
Do have to do the zonal mean once and then meridional mean in order to get the global mean or is there a workaround for this?

the operators you are looking for is called fldmean (see here for more)
