Redmine User Information

Dear users,

we're upgrading the Redmine system (code.mpimet.mpg.de) during an extraordinary maintenance on Tuesday, 16th of April.

Dear users,

there will be a maintenance of this site, starting on Tuesday 2023-07-25 at about 6:00pm CEST. The starting time may be delayed a bit (roughly up to one hour). We expect the this service to be available again after a downtime of roughly 2 - 4 hours but the downtime could last longer.

We need to update the software Redmine running on code.mpimet.mpg.de to a newer version (and in the course upgrade the operating system and service software).

What will happen:

- upgrade of OS and software on code.mpimet.mpg.de

When?

- Friday, March 26th, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Who/What is affected:

- The connection to Redmine on code.mpimet.mpg.de will
not be possible during the maintenance.

It could be that we do not need the full two hours on Friday afternoon, we will notify you by email when the maintenance should be finished ahead of schedule.

This system will be unavailable due tue maintenance on Tuesday, 9th of April between 8:30 and 10:00 CET.

The system has been restored to a working state.

Dear Users,

we have encountered technical problems and systems crashes of the git server git.mpimet.mpg.de.

In order to fix these problems we need to block the access to the git server. All repositories (including ICON) will not be accessible during
the repair.

We will let you know when the service is fixed.

We've re-enabled the self-registration for user accounts.

Please note the privacy policy update due to use of a ReCaptcha service!

Due to a very high level of bot-account registrations, the self registration of accounts is temporarily disabled.

Please check back in a few days — or if you know which project you want to take part in, contact the project managers to forward your account request.
