Example¶
To compare baseline1 and baseline0 for the Near-Surface-Air Temperatur the following adjustments have to be done:
analyze --tool murcss variable=tas project1=BASELINE1 project2=BASELINE0
For the other available adjustments the default values are used. After the run of the commend the following output is shown on the screen:
Searching Files Remapping Files Calculating ensemble mean Calculating crossvalidated mean Calculating Anomalies Analyzing year 1 to 1 Analyzing year 2 to 9 Analyzing year 6 to 9 Analyzing year 2 to 5 Finished. Calculation took 94.8433670998 seconds
If the output directory wasn't change, a new one called evaluation_system was made in the home directory. The following subdirectory have been created as well:
cache config output plots
The directory cache is used for the calculation process and in config the history of the calculation can be found. The results of the anaysis are stored in the directory output. There the outcome is orderd by the date and the different adjustments, for example:
20130620_tas_BASELINE1_BASELINE0_MPI-ESM-LR_MPI-ESM-LR_HadCrut_1960-1995
This directory contains different netcdf-files, which were used to create the pictures stored in the directory plots.
