cdo gridarea for rotated grid

i ran cdo gridarea for rotated grid. But it didn't work. Is there any way to solve it?

cdo version is 1.9.3.
command is cdo gridarea wind_std_rcp85_son.nc.nc test.nc

projections are curvilinear grids for which CDO cannot compute the cell areas without the cell corners.
But it seems to be computed from official CORDEX data (ARC-44 region). So you might be able to find the full grid information online (or you ask around at AWI)
