MJO calculation

Dear CDO users,
1.) Is there any possibility to calculate 8 different phases of MJO (Madden-Julian Oscillation) for boreal winter (November-April) using CDO.
2.) If I have precipitation data (.nc) for 2000-2018 then how can I create 8 different .nc files for 8 different MJO phases.
if you have any thoughts that then please share it.

Hi Kunal,
IMO there is no way to calculate the Julian-Madden oscillation with CDO. But you should have a look at NCL's MJO examples at http://ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/mjoclivar.shtml
