regridding of CMIP5 dataset

I have cmip5 MPI dataset of 1.79 degree.I have to billinear interpolate or regrid MPI-ESM-MR netcdf file from 1.87*1.87 degree to 0.5*0.5 degree. latitude=-88.572166442871100 to 88.572166442871100 longitude=0 to 358.1250.
Can anybody give me code to regrid it.I don't know how to extract grid information.

have a look at the remapbil operator.
