cdo outputtab

Hi all,

Wondering how to correctly use the cdo outputtab command.

I need to extract the variable from one grid point and write it out as a txt file.

This is what I did and it writes all the grid points and not the one I need.

'cdo outputtab,date,lon=106.5,lat=-6,value infile > extract.txt'

I tried, but same error.

[remo@remo sl]$ cdo -remapnn,lon=106.5_lat=-6 -outputtab wrferai-u10-6h-1985.nc out.nc
cdo remapnn: Started child process "outputtab wrferai-u10-6h-1985.nc (pipe1.1)".
cdo(2) outputtab : Enter keys to print > date,lon,lat,value

Is my syntax above correct? I tried to use a single line command using both remapnn and outputtab

if not, could you please help with the correct full command.

Hi Ralf,

I tried it under two diff commands and it worked fine.

1. cdo remapnn,lon=106.5_lat=-6 ifile.nc ofile.nc

2. cdo outputtab,date,lon,lat,value ofile.nc > a.txt

This oneliner should work:

cdo -outputtab,date,lon,lat,value -remapnn,lon=106.5_lat=-6 ifile.nc > ofile.txt
