cdo ydaysub (Abort): Day 1931 out of range!

Hi CDO,

I try to calculate the anomalies from climatological mean, but i got the following errors:


cdo -ydaysub MERRA.THF.1979_2013.nc -ydaymean MERRA.THF.1979_2013.nc MERRA.THF.1979_2013.anom.nc

cdo ydaysub: Started child process "ydaymean MERRA.THF.1979_2013.nc (pipe1.1)".

cdo ydaysub (Abort): Day 1931 out of range!

can you tell me what causes this error?

Hi Chang,

We can't reproduce this problem without your NetCDF data.
It seems that the time information from the CDO command "-ydaymean MERRA.THF.1979_2013.nc" is wrong.
You can check the result with:

cdo sinfon -ydaymean MERRA.THF.1979_2013.nc
