Summing variables in multiple files

Hi,

How can I use CDO to sum a variable in multiple netcdf file?
For example, the variable Var1 with the same dimension: (time,lev,lat,lon) is located 1500 files. I don't want to use mergetime as the time is not chronological.
I simply want to sum the variable and put the results in one file.
