Show ensemble information
Added by Guilherme Martins over 1 year ago
Hello everyone. How are you?
I would like to ask for some help.
I have an ECMWF model file ( A1E09170000091912001 ) at a resolution of 0.2 in GRIB1 format. When inspecting the content of this file ( Capturar.PNG ), I noticed that it does not display ensemble information. There are two pieces of information: the Perturbed forecast and the Control forecast ( Capturar_01.PNG ).
Could someone please inform me if CDO can display this ensemble information? The result I would expect when using "info" is what is shown in the Capturar_01.PNG image .
Best regards,
Guilherme Martins.

Hi Guilherme,
you have to use the parameter table for ECMWF for the GRIB file.
cdo -t ecmwf infon A1E09170000091912001

Hello, Karin. Thank you for your help.
I used this option, but it didn't turn out as I wanted. I would like the cdo to recognize the ensemble (highlighted in blue - Capturar1.PNG). The values are currently zero, and in this column, the ensemble numbers should appear (0-50 ensembles). Do you have any suggestions for this?
Guilherme.

No, the level entry is for vertical levels and not ensemble members.
