Mask using two thresholds

Hi,
I am new to CDO and I wondering if you can help me with something that might be quite obvious for experienced users. I am trying to calculate the number of hours (from a daily file) in which a variable is between two thresholds (i.e., t1 <= var <= t2). I managed to apply one of the conditions but not both in the same time (e.g., cdo timsum -lec,298 file_in.nc file_out.nc).
I very much appreciate you help on this.
