getting the missing value 1e+20 after regridding a consecutive dry days index (CDD)
Added by selam haftu about 4 years ago
Hello
i regridded the cdd file after calculating the indices. i got the missing value of 1e+20 on some of my GCMs. the indices values are present before regridding. pls what can i do to get the values after regridding? i also got the same value when i do the regridding before calculating the cdd indices.
attached are the netcdf file and txt file for the remapbil.

hi!
your uploaded file has only a single point. what kind of regridding do you want to do on this? Is this the input file before or after regridding?
cheers

i extracted the file from a global GCM using sellonlatbox,37.83,40.51,7.35,9.99 and i want to regrid it after the extraction of my study area.

but if there is only a single point left, you cannot regrid is afterwards. please check if you can extract a larger region or if the resolution of the input file is fine enough for your later analysis

Thank you for your response, i considered extracting a large area more than my study area and i got the result after regridding.
