CDO

Hi all,

I've been trying to convert COSMO model output from Height-based hybrid Gal-Chen coordinate to Height coordinate.

Following the documentation, I believe that ap2hl operator is the one I need. I also make sure that my data contains variable '3D air pressure'.

I used the command 'cdo ap2hl,600 test_prep.nc interpolated.nc'. The original data should be then interpolated to a single height level, 600m. But the outfile still contains all of the original vertical coordinates.

It gives me the warning 'Warning: No 3D variable with generalized height level found!'.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem before? How can I fix it?
