problem with the CRU data in NC format

when i handle the CRU data(TS3.1) which is in NC format,it always(such as sinfo, selttimestep and so on) breaks with below message:

Assertion failed: offset>=0, file posixio.c, line 414
this application has requested the Runtime ti terminate it in an unusual way
please contact the application's support team for more information.

My input file is over 2GB. Is the input file is too large?

Hi Jin,
I guess the info you have provided here is insufficient for us to say anything - may be you can provide more info regarding the issue.
Nevertheless, you may try with "cdo -f nc2" or "cdo -f nc4"
