Added by Arijeet Dutta about 8 years ago
Hi all
I have just started using CDO and it's fun! I have a file that contains data in the region 30e to 120e and 35n to 40s; I wanted to rempap with 90*75 points, ie 1 x 1 grids, but after rempaing with cdo remap,r90*75 in.nc out.nc what I am getting with cdo sinfon is
File format : netCDF
-1 : Institut Source Ttype Levels Num Points Num Dtype : Parameter name
1 : unknown Interpolated instant 42 1 6750 1 F32 : UO
Grid coordinates :
1 : lonlat : points=6750 (90x75)
* lon : 0 to 356 by 4 degrees_east circular
lat : -90 to 90 by 2.43243 degrees_north*
Vertical coordinates :
1 : generic : levels=42
DEPTH : 5.02159 to 5350.27 m
bounds : -0.00688529015-10.0500648 to 5200.63086-5499.91309 m
Time coordinate : 156 steps
this is not the desired resolution I want, please help me know the mistake
Thanks and regards
Arijeet

the shortcut rNxM
is always a global grid. regional grids are not built into CDO, see here for more
