Any way to prevent cod from overwriting any existing files

Hi all,

I wonder if there is any way to prevent cdo from overwriting any existing file.

It returns an error when the output file name matches any of the input file names. However, it doesn't return an error but overwrites without asking, when there already exists a file that has a same name as the output file.

(BTW, I am using ver 1.5.9.)

There is nothing like this, sorry. You have to write a shell wrapper around it or use the scripting language bindings.
