How to get vertical maximum including corresponding level?

Hi everyone,

I'm relatively new to CDO and bash scripting in general, so it would be great to get some help with my problem!
I successfully managed to use vertmax to get the maximum temperature of the lower part of the thermocline but I also would like to get the corresponding level (value or index) for each grid point.

Hi Laura,

The corresponding level is not available for the operators vertmin and vertmax.
