dimension as a field

Hi,
is is possible to generate a nc-file with the dimensions lon/lat copied to a field just from the griddes input? Like latitue(lat) and longitude(lon). As it seems that no operation on dimensions are possible, I didn't found a suitable solution.

Hi Matthias,

Thats right, no operation on dimensions are possible with CDO.
Coordinate variables and dimensions can be selected with NCO.
