NetCDF

Hi all,

I am new to cdo and linux, so please forgive my ignorance!

I am trying to install cdo with NetCDF support. I can install cdo fine using the user's guide, but it is NetCDF that is causing me trouble. I have downloaded netcdf-4.3.1.1.tar.gz, unzipped and unpacked it. I have run './configure --disable-netcdf-4', run 'make' and 'make check' and 'make install'. I get a message saying 'Congratulations, you have successfully installed NetCDF' but I can't see it! This is where my ignorance of linux comes in, in my cdo directory there is a file just called cdo (with a bluey/purple gear symbol), but in my NetCDF directory there is no such netcdf file. The contents of the directory are:

acinclude.m4 h5_test nc-config.in
aclocal.m4 include nc-config.in.cmake
cmake INSTALL ncdap_test
CMakeLists.txt INSTALL.cmake ncdump
cmake_uninstall.cmake.in install-sh ncgen
compile libdap2 ncgen3
COMPILE.cmake.txt libdispatch nctest
comps.txt lib_flags.am nc_test
config.guess liblib nc_test4
config.h libsrc netcdf-config.cmake.in
config.h.in libsrc4 netcdf-config-version.cmake.in
config.h.in.cmake libsrc5 netcdf.pc
config.log libtool netcdf.pc.in
config.status ltmain.sh oc2
config.sub m4 README
configure Makefile README.md
configure.ac Makefile.am RELEASE_NOTES.md
COPYRIGHT Makefile.in stamp-h1
depcomp man4 test-driver
examples missing test_prog.c
FixBundle.cmake.in nc-config VERSION

What do I append to my configure command when installing cdo? I.e.: './configure --with-netcdf=/home/fedora1/NETCDF/netcdf.4.3.1.1/.....?

Any help would be appreciated!
