Problem with Post Processing

Hi,
Dear all,
I want to convert monmean into seasmean using cdo for my RegCM output file.
I am unable to understand the following error,
[dupf@ln0 PostProc_ECHAM_EV]$ cdo yseasmean SA_EVA_SRF_monmean_1970-2000_lonlat.nc SA_EVA_SRF_monmean_1970-2000_SEASMEAN.nc
cdo yseasmean: Open failed on >SA_EVA_SRF_monmean_1970-2000_lonlat.nc<
Unsupported file type (library support not compiled in)

your CDO installation does not seem to support netcdf. Please upload the output of
cdo -V
