Why no "number_of_..." variables in eca_cfd and eca_csu?
Added by Moritz Maneke over 11 years ago
Hi,
wouldn't it be nice to have
wouldn't it be nice to have
- number_of_cfd_periods_with_more_than_5days_per_time_period and
- number_of_csu_periods_with_more_than_5days_per_time_period
as output from eca_cfd and eca_csu?
Meanwhile, any ideas for a workaround to achieve these? Could I for example just use eca_cdd/eca_cwd on TN/TX data?
On a side note: There is a minor mistake in the eca_csu documentation, as it says "daily minimum temperature" in the last sentence.
Cheers, Moritz

Hi Moritz,
Thanks for your suggestion and note!
The number of cfd and csu periods will be available with the next CDO release. A prerelease with this feature will be available by the end of next week.
Cheers,
Uwe
