CDO in Windows 7

Added by Tapash Das over 10 years ago

Hi,
I am trying to install CDO in my Windows machine. I have looked over the help file for installing CDO in Windows machine, but it seems like the example is shown for Windows XP, but I have Windows 7 operating system. Can you please point me any help file demonstrating installation of CDO in the Windows 7?
I have downloaded “cdo-1.6.1-win32.zip". I have also https://code.zmaw.de/projects/cdo/wiki/Win32, but seems like this is for Windows XP. Would anyone please point me the installation CDO steps in Windows 7 operating system?
Thanks for your help.
Tapash

There is no real difference. You can

  • put cdo.exe and pthreadxx.dll in to the system path. Start cmd and check with
    cdo -V
  • put above files into a use defined path and update the PATH variable to be aware of this path. Test as above.
