Dear all
let say i have 10 year temperature data (e.g 1980.nc 1981.nc ....1990.nc) all files have 6-hourly data for one year.
I want to calculate the mean of these year on 1st January !
how can i do this by using cdo
your help will be appreciated

thank the problem is solved now...
i have used splitsel , mergetime to do this...
