GRIB-API Deprecated

Hi,
I'm maintaining a homebrew formula to install CDO on macs:
https://github.com/moffat/homebrew-sciencebits
because grib-api is deprecated1, and the homebrew team has recently removed the grib-api formula as a result2, I will switch my cdo formula to provide eccodes as an option, which is available from the main homebrew repository. I'm not an expert on the grib-api/eccodes history but it looks like the second is largely backwards-compatible with the first. If there's a good reason to keep the grib-api formula around, I will try to add it back to my repository.
Thoughts on this are welcome.

Hi Carlos!
eccodes is the official follow-up of grib-api from ECMWF. I see no reason to stay with grib_api since eccodes fully replaces it.

Great, I've now updated the formula and will carry on using ecCodes from now on.
