Extract mean precipitation over a given area (e.g. subcatchment)?

Hi there,
i am still struggeling to find a smart way to extract the mean value of e.g. precipitation over a given area using CDO. Assuming I have a netCDF containing several subcatchments with their corresponding IDs (e.g. 1-10) and a netCDF with annual precipitation (50+ years). In the end I would like to have a table that gives me the annual precipitation for each ID and year. I have no problem in executing this for only one region (using 1 and 0 as IDs and then multiplying it with CDO) and also the part using outputtab is not an issue, I am struggeling with the various regions. As there are likely more then 10 regions, I prefer not to repeat the 0 and 1 strategy for this. Any help and suggestions would be gladly appreciated!
