CDO

Hi,

I have 2 gridded files; each with overlapping but slightly different timeseries that are offset by some number of days (e.g. one time series say starts on 1 Jan ends 31 Dec, while the other timeseries say starts from 2 Feb to 30 Nov). When I do a simple 'sub', it appears that CDO does not do 'time matching', in other words it subtracts 1 Jan with 2 Feb, 2 Jan with 3 Feb, so on). Am I right to say this?

What I wanted to do was to subtract 2 Feb in the first file with the corresponding 2 Feb in the second file. I saw something similar in 'monsub', which might probably work if I have a monthly timeseries instead of a daily timeseries. So I was wondering if there's anything similar - like 'daysub'.

Or I am stucked with a solution where the 2 timeseries must have same timeseries flow.
