I have not been able to get it to work. In the current version (1.6.8.rc3) it does not work at all. I backed off to 1.6.7. Shifttime works but incorrectly. I want to start the date in a file 7600 years in the past. I use the syntax:
cdo shifttime,-7600years, ifile ofile
This does change the years, but completely messes up the month and day.
Is there a recent version where this works?
