Download satellite data

hi!
everyone,I have a problem that I need your help.
I set up an account on a website(https://www.eorc.jaxa.jp/ptree/faq.html#0103) to download date from the Himawri-8 satellite.
Can I use the cdo to download the data provided on the website directly to my virtual machine？
I would appreciate it if you could give me a reply！

hi!
CDO does not do any download for you, sorry.
In general: satellite data is very specific and does not follow the CF-convention most of the time. So CDO is not the best tool for handling satellite data in general.
