Added by Nurul Ain over 3 years ago
Hi, I dont really understand on how consects works on my data;
I have a monthly data from 1981-2016;
eg:
cdo consects -ltc,-1.0 ifile ofile
Is it calculate the consecutive period with ltc -1.0 value over the months of each grid?

hi!
I think this little ASCII graphics might help: https://code.mpimet.mpg.de/issues/14#note-5 . Each timestep of consecutive values (in time) adds to the calculation until a 0 is hit. It does not matter if the timesteps are hours, days or years. consects
and consecsum
do not care about this aspect.
