regression coefficient between two fields as a function of space

I have two fields in two files (let's call them A and B )which are a function of latitude, longitude and time,

I want to regress one field against the other in each grid location, ie.. fit B=intercept+R*A so that the output is the regression coefficient R in each grid cell ( a function of lat and lon).

Is there an obvious way to do this in CDO? I've can't think of one...

what about the regression module of CDO? check the pdf docu at page 143 for more
