CDO

Hello,

I try to substract the hourly seasonal cycle from hourly time series (there is no missing values) with yhoursub:

cdo yhoursub hourly_time_series.nc hourly_climatology.nc output.nc

But I get the following error: Hour of year 1138 already allocatd!
The year 1138 is not related to my dataset (2007-2017).

I can succeed by using the "sub" operator (cdo sub hourly_time_series.nc hourly_climatology.nc output.nc), but I am not sure if the result is ok or not (it is slightly different from what I expect).
It works perfectly with monthly seasonal cycle and monthly time series (using ymonsub) and gives the expected result.

I am wondering if this problem with yhoursub is related to leap years in the time series while the climatology is based on a normal year ? Or with something else ?
