Define months for seasons

Hello respected helper.

I need help with defining my own seasons in CDO. Since CDO use DJF, MAM ... as default seasons while i want to change this order and use my own order with maximum months of five per season. please help me and thanks in advance for help

Hi Khan,

have a look at the select operator which has a season parameter

select,season=SEASON

where SEASON is a comma separated list of seasons (substring of DJFMAMJJA- SOND or ANN).

cdo select,season=JFMAM infile outfile
