Hi,
Using the latest CDO, version 1.7.2 to convert OpenIFS Cycle 40r1 grib files to netcdf results in some variables being erroneously renamed.
I've uploaded a few test files. The command: cdo -v -f nc -t ecmwf copy.
I suspect an grib table that is out of date. A work-around is to use the grib_api's grib_to_netcdf, however, some metadata can be lost with this method.
