Multiyear daily anomalies

I am a beginner user of cdo. Thank you for this great tool. I would like to see daily anomolies from observed daily temperature files that covers about 100 years and compare them to daily anomolies from some 20th century model runs with daily output.
I know that the ymonmean followed by ymonsub gives me monthly anomolies.
Is there any script that you know of that would get me the daily anomolies over a series of years in a similar way?
