warning remapbil

Added by Noelia Otero almost 8 years ago

Hi!

I just wanted to ask quickly (to be sure that I'm doing well). I am using remapbil, but, getting one warning message:

cdo remapbil (Warning): HDF5 support not compiled in!

However, the process "seems" to be finished..I just wanted to know, is it fine to ignore this message? should the regridding be OK?

Thanks in advance

Without input and cdo version; it's hard to comment on that.

RE: warning remapbil - Added by Noelia Otero almost 8 years ago

Hi!

I attach the input file that I want to regrid (file1) to another second grid defined by the second attached file (file_grid).
What I did is:
cdo -a -f nc copy -remapbil,filegrid.nc file1.nc outfile.nc

Getting the warning:
cdo copy: Started child process "remapbil, filegrid.nc file1.nc (pipe1.1)".
cdo(2) remapbil (Warning): HDF5 support not compiled in!

So, I just wanted to be sure that the process is working (it seems that it's done)

Thanks again!
PS. I'm using CDO version 1.7.0

I also checked cdo installed with conda - it worked, too. So this might be another option for you to use

the upload is the results from

cdo remapbil,filegrid.nc file1.nc t.nc

hth
ralf

t.nc (30.6 MB) t.nc

RE: warning remapbil - Added by Noelia Otero almost 8 years ago

Thanks a lot!
