I got RX1DAY and RX5DAY with the same amount

Hi All,
I have calculated the 1-day maximum precipitation (RX1DAY) and 5-day maximum precipitation for daily ECHAM5 data (30-year).
But I got the RX1DAY and RX5DAY with the same amount.
cdo eca_rx1day ECHAM5_daily_precip.nc RX1DAY.nc
cdo eca_rx5day ECHAM5_daily_precip.nc RX5DAY.nc
I'm wondering that why I got a same maximum precipitation amount.
Anny suggestions will be appreciated.

Finally I found what I did wrong.
The eca_rx5day operator need the 5-day precipitation as an infile.
First time, I though that this operator can calculate 5-day precipitation from daily precipitation and then calculate 5-day maximum precipitation.
I apologize you all for this posting.
