CDO

Hi All

I just came across some 5-d variables in the CMIP5 archive. I didn’t know there were any, e.g.:

/badc/cmip5/data/cmip5/output1/MOHC/HadGEM2-A/amip4K/day/atmos/cfDay/r1i1p1/v20111120/clisccp/clisccp_cfDay_HadGEM2-A_amip4K_r1i1p1_20080901-20081230.nc

I note that CDO doesn’t seem to be able to deal with these; the following fails:

$ cdo select,name=clisccp clisccp_cfMon_MPI-ESM-LR_amip4K_r1i1p1_197901-200812.nc a.nc
