CDO

Greetings,

I am using CDO to convert a netcfd file to a GRIB2 file. The conversion works fine; however, when I try to load the file in GrADS I'm seeing an error.

By querying the file, I see that packing=4 was used but it seems that GrADS cannot handle this packing properly.

I tried to change the packing method using wgrib2 with "wgrib2 IN.grb2 -set_grib_type c3 -GRIB OUT.grb2" without any success.

Does any one know how to tell CDO to use packing method 0, 2, 3 or 40 ?
