ECMWF grib to NetCDF conversion works like a charm. Thanks a lot for offering that off-the-shelf feature in CDO.
I however have the following change request for 4 variables, which differ in their short names in CDO from the official ECMWF grib table:

165 U10M -> 10U
166 V10M -> 10V
167 T2M -> 2T
168 D2M -> 2D
Would that change be possible in a new CDO version or is it not allowed to assign NetCDF variables names starting with a letter?
