ydrunmean for noleap calendars still produces 366 values
Added by Ed Maurer over 11 years ago
I have run the ydrunmean command on a file containing 50 years of daily data with a noleap (365_day) calendar. the output still has 366 time steps, and all time steps appear to have valid data. How is the function working to do this? I'm just not sure how to interpret the output.
thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed,
I can't reproduced this problem with my test data. Could you please attach an example file, the cdo command line and the cdo version number? Does CDO recognize the 365_day calendar in your file? You can check it with "cdo sinfon file.nc" in the "Time coordinate" section.
Cheers, Uwe

I seem to have been using a file with a "standard" calendar instead of the noleap as I had intended. I'll have to try it out on another file. Sorry about that.
