Hi,
I found that cdo monmean conducts the mean even if the number of days is less than the total number of days in months
is this the default behavior? Shouldn't monmean skip months with an incomplete number of days?

Hi Ahmed,
monmean calculates the monthly mean from all time steps that exist in the respective months. It is not checked whether all days of the month are present in the data.
